ORKA šed sa svojim specifičnim osobinama je uspeo da nadje svoje mesto kod domaćih i stranih ribolovaca. Karakterističnim izgledu ORKA šeda stavljen je akcenat na njegov oblik i na najbitniji deo, a to je balans (masa). Za razliku od postojećih šedova na svetskom tržištu, gde je težište obično u ledjnom delu, ORKA šedovi imaju težište spušteno, u stomačni deo varalice. Time je postignut rad voblera (telo pri povlačenju se kreće kao klatno levo – desno). Početak voblovanja započinje od repića, koji je pločasto izveden, preko vratnog dela repa, a zatim se vibracije prenose na samo telo šeda.
